Every tier includes the complete double-entry accounting system. What changes between tiers is capacity — seats, storage, and how many tax notices and utility bills you can generate in a year — plus which of the eight municipal departments arrive switched on. Individual departments can also be added to any tier for $15 or $50 a month each.

No, and that is deliberate. All eleven optional tools — GIS and mapping, the citizen self-service portal, smart metering, mobile field operations, communications and alerts, plan review, capital planning, elections, public 311, the live meeting console and the contractor registry — are add-ons at every tier, priced from $19 to $49 a month. Most municipalities never need them and should not carry the cost of them inside a tier price. The complete stack of all eleven is $359 a month.
Yes, from the Town tier. Payment Approvals routes a payment to named approvers before it is disbursed rather than reconstructing who authorised it afterwards, and the person who raised a request cannot be the one who approves it. Every approval, rejection and change of approver is written to a tamper-evident audit trail, and the evidence exports to PDF or Excel for your auditor. It is a platform feature included with the tier, not a paid add-on, so it carries no separate fee. Audit logs and month-end period locks are included at every tier, from Summer Village upward.
